Our project team will explore a change in misconduct rate of each department over time and also identifying key players in the force responsible for the improvement/deterioration of a department. Our goal is to research the relationship between "a change in misconduct rate of each department" and "reward/promotion of the officers in the same department" to understand how police officers can be/are placed, promoted and rewarded in police organizations effectively. We would also like to further analyze the departmental relationships of these cops to that of a network of bad cops to help us identify crucial players and relationships across these hierarchies.
